Employment may be defined as contract between the employee and the employer. Employment means recruitment of a person to do a particular job. The term employment is incomplete without the two things. One is remuneration and other is service.A person who performs the duties or renders the services is called employee where as the person who employs him is an employer. Some remuneration is paid to the employee for the work done by him.Employment may be for any specific task or a number of tasks. Employment may be related to any sector. Employment may in a public sector or it may be related to a private sector. The public sector services are related to transport, insurance or communications, while the private sector may be related to any other field.

EmploymentIt is not essential that a person may be employment under another person. There are some self employment sectors also. In this type of employment a person earns from his own resources. In every country, there is different level of employment. In European countries, there are large numbers of opportunities than other countries. The employment is directly related to number of vacancies it offers to the deserving candidate. Generally, every type of employment demands a particular type of qualification. Some services demand expert knowledge in a particular field. One example can be given of chartered accountants where a person has to do work of auditing. Professional knowledge is required in some type of employments like law, medicine or engineering.

A person has to be well versed with the details and must have proficiency for a particular field. For some specialized jobs, a person may posses special skills like electronics or computers or hardware. However, there are various fields which do not demand any particular level of knowledge. The employment mainly needed some basic training in the starting then as a person starts doing the work; he becomes more skilled and efficient.Some types of jobs are very dangerous like working in the chemical factory or antibiotics unit. Such jobs are purely hazardous in nature and the persons who work in this type of factories are highly exposed to risk. So the special skills have to be possessed by the workers.

Whatever be the type of service, some consideration is very important. This consideration has to be paid in cash in lieu of the services which are rendered by an employee. Government and industries play a significant role in creating various job opportunities for the general masses. In any type of economy, growth in employment sector initiates the development of country.
